Austin, Texas – Today, And Then There Were None (ATTWN), the nonprofit ministry founded by Abby Johnson that exists to help abortion clinic workers leave the abortion industry, announced that in just the past three months, the organization has assisted 18 workers leave the abortion industry.
“There is a groundswell of workers who have had enough of the inhumane practices towards women and unborn children that happen inside Planned Parenthood facilities across the country,” said Abby Johnson, the founder and president of ATTWN. “We are incredibly humbled at ATTWN to play an important role in changing lives, hearts, and minds. Without abortion workers, there is no abortion industry.”
In under 4 years as an organization, ATTWN has assisted 193 workers leave the abortion industry, including 6 abortion doctors. ATTWN proactively assists abortion clinic workers leave the abortion industry by assisting them in several ways: 1) Resume writing; 2) Job recruitment; 3) Interviewing skills; 4) Continuing education; 5) Free legal support, if necessary; 6) Limited transitional financial support while they are looking for new employment; 7) Emotional help; 8) All expense paid healing retreats; and, 9) Spiritual guidance.
“As we prepare for our 6th healing retreat in a few weeks, we are grateful for our many generous supporters, and of course, for the bravery of the men and women who make the decision to put down their abortion instruments and now defend life in the womb,” continued Johnson. “We have seen amazing changes and conversions happen in the lives of so many men and women who have left the industry.”
In addition to the increasing numbers of workers leaving, ATTWN recently kicked off its annual “We Care 4 You 2” campaign. Every year, ATTWN sends a mailer into every single abortion clinic in the country. This mailer lets the employees know of their services and how ATTWN can help them leave.
