Aid Access Sued for Wrongful Death When Father Spikes Drink with Abortion Pills

In Texas, a deeply disturbing lawsuit has emerged that will absolutely not be the first of its kind: a woman is suing abortion pill provider Aid Access for wrongful death following the termination of her unborn baby. Her partner obtained abortion pills from Aid Access and then snuck them into hot chocolate, which the mom drank, causing an abortion of her eight-week-old unborn baby.

Abby Johnson, former Planned Parenthood director and founder of And Then There Were None and ProLove Ministries, has said this would happen. Abortion pills are too easy to get. Last month, Abby recorded a video that showed her obtaining free abortion pills from Aid Access. They were delivered right to her door. She was not asked about her age, not given the opportunity to speak to a doctor, and was told to follow directions for taking the pills that were double that amount that the FDA recommends.

“Get rid of it”

This lawsuit, while the first of its kind because the mother is specifically suing the abortion pill provider, Aid Access, is nowhere near the first instance of a partner sneaking abortion pills into the drink of the mother of his baby to cause an abortion.

This dad pressured the mom, Liana Davis, to have an abortion once he found out she was pregnant. She refused to do it. Liana has text messages that show him saying to her that he “would like to get rid of it.” Well, she chose not to.

Her partner, Christopher Cooprider, ended up obtaining abortion pills from Aid Access and secretly spiking a cup of hot chocolate with more than 10 of them, way more than the recommended dosage. She started bleeding almost immediately and went to the ER where she discovered she had lost her baby.

“A mother lost her baby because of easy access to abortion pills and that is an absolute tragedy. Yet it won’t be the last time we hear this same story as long as these drugs are simple to get,” said Abby Johnson.

“I was able to get free abortion pills online from Aid Access in a matter of days without stating my intention or age. Is Aid Access ok with Liana Davis’ choice being taken away from her because of the pills they sent her partner? Abortion pills aren’t the road to freedom. They are the road to absolute destruction, not only for Ms. Davis and her baby, but for the millions of other women who think that ending the life of their baby on their bathroom floor is the definition of true empowerment.”

Abortion Pills are Taking Away Choice

Abortion pill abortions make up more than 60% of all abortions in America. They are extraordinarily easy to obtain and as this lawsuit shows, deadbeat men can use them to “get rid” of their problems. Why isn’t the abortion industry protecting these women?

Earlier this summer, Justin Banta, a Department of Justice employee who slipped his girlfriend the abortion pill, caused the death of their baby without the mother’s knowledge or consent. He is currently facing capital murder charges.

“If the liberal women want to rail against the patriarchy, they should rail against the easy access of abortion pills that give men easy control of their partners,” said Abby.

There are more than nine other similar cases in the past few years where men have drugged their partners with pills in order to cause an abortion.

And no one is talking about predators who use the abortion pill to cover up their crimes. Who knows how many pills Aid Access and others have sent to men who plan to use the pills to get rid of evidence?

“Women are not protected nor empowered by the abortion pill,” said Abby. “They are put in danger.”
